The LCD Center welcomes everyone. We are driven by a structural commitment to gender affirming, diplomatic, race conscious language across humanity’s spectrum. We serve African Diasporic, Indigenous, Latin Diasporic, Desi American, and Pacific Islander communities and welcome more.
Our goal is to help strengthen communication across cultures through equitable education that cultivates the capacity to listen, reflect, and convey meaning in today's technology ecology.

CREATIVE CONSCIOUSNESS
The Linguistic Communication Development Center's Creative Consciousness program promotes gender and LGBTQ+ inclusive language to enhance communication competency. The human voice is a catalyst for change. Its tones connect directly to hearts and minds to evoke and convey powerful, perception-changing reactions. Using terms wisely supports organizational growth and cohesion in environments committed to actualizing racial diversity, cultural inclusion, and social equity.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT
The Linguistic Communication Development Center helps most anyone learn to organize their thoughts. What Do You Think About combines critical thinking, the structural organization of written and spoken language, and imagery to help bolster communication. We also provide professional writing tutoring, public speaking consultations, and editing services for academic, business, and creative projects.

PRIME TIME
Our PrimeTime program teaches older adults digital media literacy: the ability to find, evaluate, and communicate credible information online effectively. From initial setup to complex functions, participants learn to use technological devices to access and create content competently to thrive within today's technology ecology.

YOU HEARD
Mindful listeners communicate better. Cultivate mindful listening skills through music appreciation with You Heard. A program filled with musical stylings: gospel, opera, jazz, country, hip-hop, New Age, R&B, and Big Band, learn to identify the subtleties of sound as we learn to honor the timbre of our individual and collective voices.
